Day 233

When I first met Kathleen a few months ago, she was limping along on our walk. Today when I met up with Kathleen and Martha (luckily, Martha had no green stuff between her teeth today) Kathleen was moving at a zippy clip.

She had a complete hip replacement on April 12. Four days later, her husband called from work to check up on her.

“Honey, how are you feeling? Are you comfortable? Can I bring home anything for you?”

“Can’t talk now, honey,” Kathleen said. “I’m at the mall.”

Now THAT is what I call one successful surgery.

If you are thinking about knee replacement surgery, maybe you should find out the name of her doctor, and the exact procedure she had.

Or maybe you’d just like to know what she was buying the mall that day…
