My rules are as follows: beginning next Thursday, October 1st, I will walk one hour, every single day, for an entire year.

That’s right: through rain, sun, sleet, hail, snow, hangovers — you name it, I’m walking through it. Or over it. Or around it.

If I absolutely have to miss a day — like when I’m flying on the red-eye from Paris, or in the emergency room with appendicitis — I’ll make up the mileage over the subsequent days.

This is the countdown. And the committment. Check back with me tomorrow to see my times and routes posted.
